My name is Rachel Starkings and I’m a trained psychodynamic therapist, practicing in Sussex and nationwide. I completed my postgraduate diploma in Psychodynamic therapy at the University of Brighton. I have an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in psychology as well.
I pride myself on developing a practice where I offer a supportive space to my clients. I can work with you on issues like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and relationship/family difficulties. I can also be there for you during a cancer diagnosis or a bereavement. I have experience working with clients in the primary care network along with those in a hospice setting and for crisis support.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), which is the governing body I follow for ethical guidance. I’m also a member of the British Psychological Society.
